In anticipation of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November, the Concordia Annual Summit took place bringing together representatives from different sectors and providing them with a unique opportunity to speak in the roundtable about their expectations, hopes and ideas of how best to engage with one another and of how an interdisciplinary approach can be developed to support global efforts and the UN Sustainable Development Goals towards environmental sustainability.
Alexandra Mitsotaki, president and co-founder of the non-governmental organization World Human Forum, met at the roundtable addressing key convergence issues that require the attention and commitment of all of us for a more sustainable future. Special allusion was given to her speech on the Delphi cube – the idea that perfectly reflects the practice of convergence to protect both the environment and promote social equality.
