The World Human Forum returned to the 2nd International Conference on Green Innovation and Circular Economy (GRICE) to explore how the arts, education, and ancient heritage can contribute to the creation of an ecological civilisation. The discussion brought together perspectives from culture, research, and education to reflect on how creativity, learning, and our connection to the past can inspire new approaches to the challenges of our time.
The discussion “How can the Arts, Education, and Ancient Sites assist in the creation of an Ecological Civilisation”took place on 12 May 2026. Speakers included Alexandra Mitsotaki (President and Co-founder, World Human Forum), Dr Maria Dagioglou (Researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”), and Kostas Chorianopoulos (Deputy Principal, First Arsakeio Primary School of Psychiko; Member of the Coordinating Committee, International Education for Sustainability Network “Myth2Space”).
